Process

Here are a few images of the Wolverine from start to finish. I drew the initial sketch in Sketchbook Pro then imported it to Photoshop where I made a layer for the shading, lineart, and color.

Color

Here's the finished drawing. The blue on my Cintiq is off and it is really frustrating me! The blues look purple on my desktop monitor and I can't get them the same. If anyone has any way to fix this please help me out:)

I have had this idea for a long time and I finally got started on it. It's a side scroller action war game called "Frogman". I want it to be simple and appealing to the eye for kids big and small. Designing the lead character isn't easy because it is going to be animated in flash so it has to be simple without it looking boring. Here are two versions of the lead character.

Alice in Wonderland Drawing Challenge

It has been an eternity since I posted anything here but I'm back and still kicking:) I singed up to a social network for professional artists in the animation and entertainment industry called the CGHUB. They have biweekly drawing challenges as well as 3d art challenges. Their new challenge is Alice In Wonderland. You could redesign the existing characters from the story or just make up a movie poster for the new Tim Burton film that is on the way. This is a rough of my take on the white rabbit so I am going to finish this up and post it later.
