Sometimes....

Been standing on the sidelines for a while

admiring from a far

just a passing cloud on a hot sunny day

talk to me when you need to

lean on me if you lose your balance

being a gentleman is hard these days

when we live in a world where love is not enough

but at the end of the day I can look at myself

and know that this is who I am

and when the time is right

if there ever will be a time

I will say what I have always wanted to say

but sometimes

I think that these situations were meant to learn from

and use at a different place and time.......

Thank you Jessica for the compliment today. I sometimes feel like I can't draw a stick figure and I go into my cave to hide but I guess it's my way of taking whatever talent I have for granted. I am grateful for the kind and sincere people out there like yourself to remind me to get off my butt and keep drawing. Even if my drawings do come out a little bit on the sad side....
